Frequently Asked Questions about Woof Dah!

Common Questions Regarding our Burnsville Dog Boarding & Daycare Services

Daycare FAQs

Once your dog has completed their Evaluation Day, you can drop them off anytime during business hours! For overnight boarding, we recommend arriving earlier in the day, so your pup has plenty of playtime before bed.

Absolutely. If your dog needs a mid-day meal or medication, please bring it in a labeled baggie or container. We are happy to accommodate special diets and medical needs at no extra cost.

For optimal socialization and routine, most dogs attend 1-3 times per week. High-energy breeds or puppies often benefit from 2-3 days to stay happy and calm at home.

Yes! You can use a half-day or full-day package credit to cover late checkout fees for boarding. (Note: The package type must match the fee being covered).

Our outdoor splash park, The Plaza, is open whenever the weather is above 50°F and conditions are safe. In winter, we move the fun to our climate-controlled indoor play parks to ensure sanitation and safety.

Kennel-Free Boarding FAQs

Yes! Unlike many “dog hotels” that leave dogs alone at night, Woof Dah! has awake, overnight staff in the sleeping room (Slumber Bay) 24/7/365. Your dog is never alone.

Please bring:

1. A quick-release collar (with a name tag).

2. Pre-portioned food and any necessary medications. Please leave toys and blankets at home—we provide orthopedic beds and plenty of entertainment!

In our cage-free Slumber Bay! Dogs sleep communally on orthopedic beds with their friends and a human caretaker. (We do have separation options for medical needs or upon request).

This is exactly why kennel-free boarding works! Because your dog is surrounded by friends and human staff day and night, they are distracted and comforted, leaving little time to feel anxious.

Yes, we offer a “10th Night Free” discount for stays of 10 nights or longer.

Holiday & Policy FAQs

For major holidays (New Year’s, Juneteenth, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas), we require a 5-day cancellation notice. If you cancel fewer than 5 days prior, the $50 holiday deposit is non-refundable.

ASAP! Major holidays and Spring Break often book up months in advance. We recommend reserving your spot as soon as you know your travel dates.

If a dog shows aggression or extreme disruptive behavior, we may ask that they not return. We evaluate every dog’s temperament before they are accepted into our pack.
