Daycare FAQ's

  • What times can I drop my dog off for daycare?
Anytime when we are open. There is no specific drop off time after you have completed an Orientation Day!  back to top

  • If my dog comes for daycare, can you feed him during the day?
Yes! If your dog needs breakfast, lunch, dinner or a medication we'd be happy to feed him during the day. Please bring your dog's food in a baggie or small container. When you arrive, we'll have you fill out a small paper instructions label to attach to your container.   back to top

  • How often do most dogs come for daycare?
Most dogs come between 1 and 3 times per week. However, the most popular pups come 5 days per week!  back to top

  • Can I use my prepaid daycare package towards a boarding stay?
No. Unfortunately, our computer system is no longer able to use a daycare package towards any part of a boarding stay. We appreciate your understanding!  back to top

  • If I have two or more dogs is there a discount?
Yes. Families of 2 or more dogs get a 7% discount on all services.  back to top

  • How early should I book daycare on Holiday?
Daycare reservations for Holiday time periods such as New Years, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas should be made several months in advance to guarantee a spot.   back to top

  • Are there other times of the year that book full early?
Yes. There are a couple of times of the year, besides holidays, that we book full very early for. Some of these dates include: Spring break for our local school district (usually the last week in March), Fridays-Sundays late June until Labor Day and MEA weekend (in mid October).  back to top

  • If I purchase a daycare package, do I still need to make reservations?
Yes! To ensure that we have space available, you will still need to call to make reservations. This applies to all daycare packages, including the "Saint Bernard" unlimited package.   back to top

  • What is the minimum charge for daycare?
The minimum charge for daycare is a half day ($18).   back to top

  • How many days of daycare per week do you recommend?
It depends on your dog's personality and your schedule. Most dogs will be very tired for 1-2 days after each visit. If you have a puppy, 2-3 visits per week will help you keep your sanity. Older or more mellow dogs do well with as little as 1 day per week.   back to top

  • If my dog is older than 11 years old, can he still come to daycare?
Yes, dogs who have already completed an Orientation day can continue to come and play as long as their health allows.  back to top

  • Can my dog get expelled from daycare?
Yes, if your dog is behaving in a way that is dangerous or disruptive to other dogs or staff, we will notify you. We will discuss all the options to keep the behavior under control with you. If the behavior cannot be kept under control, we may ask that your dog not come back. Your dog may be kept in a feeding kennel until you return.  back to top

  • What behaviors are not allowed at daycare?
Some examples of behaviors not allowed at daycare are: Excessive barking or whining, excessive humping or rough play, aggression, nipping at other dogs or staff and excessive anxiety.   back to top
